A postgraduate degree in Computer Applications (MCA) opens up a wide range of career opportunities.
Many alumni of the programme have secured excellent positions in various IT industries. The MCA is a
three-year postgraduate programme comprising six semesters for non-computer
science graduates. Students with a computer science background can opt for lateral entry and join
directly in the second year.
The MCA programme at the college is AICTE approved and affiliated with
Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
Eligibility
- B.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering / Computer Technology
- BCA (for lateral entry into the second year)
- Undergraduates in any discipline
Entry is through a common entrance test conducted by the management consortium or TANCET.

experts, and placement support to prepare students for professional success.
Internship
Students are required to work on a project exclusively in the final semester. A detailed report must
be submitted to the Department, which will be evaluated by internal and external examiners during
the viva-voce.
