Warm Greetings in His Precious Name.
The iconic halls of ivy – Bishop Appasamy College of Arts & Science (BACAS) founded by the then legendaries of Coimbatore Diocese 31 years ago, in the name of Rt. Rev. Dr. Aiyadurai Jesudasen Appasamy a renowned Indian Christian theologian, author, and the first Bishop of Coimbatore for the Church of South India (CSI) -, has continuously strived and relentlessly worked to fulfill its mission of education and selfless service to society in transforming youth of Coimbatore and its adjoint, into men of conviction and character whilst at the same time making very conscious efforts and choices to reach out the poor and lesser privileged members of society. I am very proud to serve in this iconic academy after completing my 37 glorious years of service in Government Aided Collegiate Service. I believe BACAS is not just a place where students and teachers meet and knowledge extends its hands. It is a joint venture by many stakeholders and representatives. It is a temple of higher education powered by Moral excellence where students add to their inventory of knowledge with the assistance and vigilance of their gurus – who not only teach but develop, mould and build the students to be a person of contentment in life through the portals of this hallowed institution.
