University level
The football team participated in the Bharathiar University inter-collegiate football tournament conducted in the month of September 2016 and won the 4th place.
District and State level
The college football club team secured 3rd place in Coimbatore district football association ‘A’ Division league Tournament and also was selected for super league which the top 6 teams in Coimbatore to participate.
Individual awards
Karthi of 2nd M.COM took part in Bharathiar University Intercollegiate athletic meet in the event of half marathon held at Coimbatore and secured 2nd place and he was selected to represent in all India inter university athletic meet held at Coimbatore. Sakthikannan of 3rd BSW took part in Bharathiar University intercollegiate athletic meet in the event of long jump and secured 3rd place. Gnana Parkash of 1st BCA and Rajavell of 1st BBA were selected to participate in Coimbatore district team for state level football tournament.
